Care Tips
To ensure the efficiency of your fish feeder, we recommend that you:
- Clean the feeder and its feeding tube once a month to prevent clogging (a declogger can be used if necessary)
- Recharge batteries as needed. If they are not holding their charge, it’s time for new ones!
- Check out our line of solar-powered fish feeders for a battery-free option.
- Change the food in your automatic fish feeder once every three months to keep it fresh and prevent clogging.
- We recommend feeding your pet at least twice per day, so if you use one of our two or five-pound hoppers, be sure to switch out the food before refilling.
Understanding Medicare & Medicare Advantage
Automatic fish feeders are designed for aquarists who want to enjoy their fish without maintaining a tight schedule. Whether you are always out of town or come home late, then an automatic fish feeder is the perfect solution for you. They are also ideal if you have a large tank or want to ensure that your pets eat regularly without any effort on their part.
